We are welcoming Emily Slade to the show to chat about Fast X. Important to note: she’s never seen a single Fast & Furious… until now! After finding out why she hadn’t seen any before joining us to cover Fast X, we get her initial thoughts and whether or not she enjoyed being thrown into the deep end. She talks about her surprise that this movie passes the Bechdel test and her worry about the potential damage of Momoa’s portrayal of Dante in this film. How much longer do we have with this current cast? We discuss. Emily shares her brush with Fast & Furious in the Universal backlot. We talk about whether the streets of Los Angeles want the Fast and Furious back, whether Dante kill Baby B in the finale, and who she’d like to see (outside of the franchise) in the next Fast film.
