X-Men Empyre closes it’s chapter with Beast obtaining a piece of Horticulture technology, Ilyana tries to lay claim to the undead and Genosha (and Kurt), but the day is saved when Zombie Explodey Boy chats with his resurrected self. Also Wanda is still trying to figure out how to atone and what it means to be redeemed.
The X-Force crew have to deal with invaders… that came out of the bodies of the original invaders. It was all a ploy by our resident metal sad boy’s older brother. Lockeheed returns and Emma learns the truth of what happened to Kate. The 5 try to resurrect Kate one last time….and it works!
The X-men work with Horticulture to try and stop the Cotati invasion but new problems arise when Illyana claims Wanda’s staff and becomes this badass demon queen of the undead. But all is not well for the Cotati who are now turning into zombies. And now there is a new zombie brain from the Cotati plants. Oh my!
Teens are dating, except Cable has 5 girlfriends who are very powerful psychics. We delve into the life of Fantomex and more about the weapons project. Big reveals and even bigger favors are asked. Sway and Petra skim the line of the Bechdel test trying to get Vulcan to start a party, but he is too busy having dreams about aliens and killing plants.
